ADAM'S BIO

Adam grew up in Sarasota, FL and played club locally. He was apart of several very successful programs and played ODP during high school. He received a full athletic scholarship to West Virginia Wesleyan in the toughest Division II conference at the time. His Leadership and abilities helped him to be selected as Captain during his junior and senior years. His accolades includes First Team All-Conference and All-Region. After college he chose to play in Italy for Acilia AS, then Chicago Fire U-23s. After Chicago ended, he came back to Sarasota and got into coaching, which included Assistant Coaching at Eckerd College, Director of Competitive Boys at FC Sarasota and Data and Analysis Coach with Sarasota Metropolis. He currently holds a C license, and in queue for his USSF B.

Adam’s vision of what a soccer player should be is very clearly outlined in the Next Generation Soccer Academy plan. He has worked with players over the years using unique methods that help with ball mastery, enhancing soccer IQs and leading them down the right pathway for college. His passion for the game has helped over 30 players become collegiate players. His organization, concepts and attitude will bring players forward, exposing them to Next Generation opportunities.

Playing Experience

First Team All-state in high school, 4 year full scholarship soccer athlete at West Virginia Wesleyan, 1 year semi-pro at Acilia Calcio in Italy, 2 years with Chicago Fire u23s. Additionally, 2 USASA soccer championships.

Coaching Experience

4 years Head Coach Riverview High School, Boys Competitive Director at youth club, 2 years assistant coach at Eckerd College

Current Licenses

USSF C

Why do you coach soccer?

I am a competitive person and being able to work with motivated athletes to compete, is my passion.

What do you like to do outside of coaching and/or playing soccer?

I spend a lot of time with my family, mostly with my son Luca! We love being outdoors which includes bike rides with the family dog, Rolo.

About the Sporting Director's Role

The role of the The Sporting Director (SD) will drive increased levels of performance and effectiveness throughout all areas of the Club’s football operations. Working with Leadership to promote a strong understanding of how each department can best support the coaches
and implement plans accordingly. The SD will also be responsible for engaging with the wider business functions of the club to fully align the operational vision, curriculum and long-term model.

In addition, the SD’s role is to lead and develop a professional, high-performing team to ensure the effective, efficient and delivery of performance and support programs. To provide business-wide leadership to all staff in collaboration with the Technical Director on day-to-day operations. It is very important that leadership and strategic direction of the
programs is consistently aligned with the club’s vision and philosophy.
